Geneva Write Now

Contest Winners

In January 2021, the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission invited budding and experienced Geneva writers to share their original work through Geneva Write Now, a short story contest. This new literary arts program is an opportunity to discover and enjoy the stories of local writers from home while connecting the community through the arts.

The Winning Stories

The Cultural Arts Commission would like to congratulate the winners of Geneva Write Now short story contest for a job well done. The winners received Geneva Chamber of Commerce gift certificates which are redeemable at more than 160 participating shops. Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and Commission member Amy Cook delivered the prizes to some of the contest winners at City Hall. Thank you to everyone who shared their creative writing with the Commission and helped to make this new program a success.
