The Geneva Public Works responded to a small power outage caused by a squirrel contacting an electric line Dec. 16 on Geneva’s west side.
The incident happened at 9:25 a.m. resulting in lost service for three customers in the 500 & 600 blocks of Ray Street and the 1000 block of Hawthorne Lane.
Crews refused the transformer to restore service at 10:55 a.m.
