The Geneva Public Works Department responded to a small power outage Oct. 14 in the downtown historic district.
The service disruption occurred at 11:05 a.m. after an animal made contact with a power line. Nine customers lost service in the 200 block of South Fifth Street, 100 block of South First Street and the 400 block of James Street.
Power was restored at 12:17 p.m. after Geneva Public Works repaired the broken electrical cutout.
