However, like all utilities, we are susceptible to outages caused by bad weather, animals, equipment issues and more. This blog is designed to provide updates on what caused outages after service has been restored. Large-scale incidents will be posted in real-time on the City's Alert Center on our website homepage. Customers can subscribe to receive these updates via Notify Me.

Rent electric, tandem, road, youth, and comfort bikes to explore 50+ miles of connected trails—or head to the river and reserve your kayak, canoe, or paddleboard online for a day of water adventure. Just check in at the shop when you arrive.

Local Riders, take Note: Join the next Thursday Group Ride—a 20–30 mile loop that leaves from the parking lot at 6:15 p.m. The next ride is Thursday, July 31. Call the shop for more details on this group ride.

And yes, did we mention there is a cafe inside. Enjoy fresh fruit smoothies, açaí bowls, espresso drinks, crepes (weekends only!), delicious sandwiches, pastries, soft serve ice cream and more.

Monday to Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday to Sunday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Freshly made crepes on weekends!)

Fun Fact: Owner Bruce knew by age 10 he wanted to open a bike shop—and now Mill Race Cyclery is a dream come true. Owners Bruce and Karen are often at the shop, and we encourage you to stop by and see where passion meets pedals.
