In order to complete the City's stormwater utility network GPS data collection, Geneva Public Works Department personnel will need to enter some residential yards the week of Oct. 28 to finish the project.

Public Works has located more than 85% of storm structures that are easily accessible, but more than 300 residential properties with fenced-in yards throughout Geneva remain unchecked.

Public Works personnel, who will be wearing a City of Geneva shirt and have a City ID card, will enter the yards to collect the GPS location of a storm structure as well as confirming other data. There will be no digging or construction activities related to this project. The City staff member will be entering the property, gathering the necessary information and leaving.

The GPS data collection will start Monday, Oct. 28 and be finished by Friday, Nov. 1, weather permitting.
