Northbound traffic on Batavia Avenue (Route 31) north of Fargo Boulevard will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 due to tree removal work.
The Illinois Department of Transportation's contractor will be removing trees at 949 S. Batavia Ave. during the day. The lane closures should not impact rush hour traffic or motorists heading southbound on Route 31.
Please use caution when driving through the work zone Oct. 20.
