The public may notice a heavy police presence Thursday, Sept. 5 at Wheeler Park in Geneva, but there is no need to worry. A contractor will be on hand to clean the interiors of squad cars from police agencies from across the Tri-Cities.

Geneva, Batavia and St. Charles police officers will be bringing their squad cars in intervals from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 5 to the north parking lot of the park, 822 N. First St. (Route 31).

Wheeler Park patrons will want to use the south parking lot located off North Street during this time.
