Kane County announced night time pavement urethane pavement marking on Randall Road is scheduled to begin the week of Sept. 16 from Route 64 in St. Charles to Gleneagle Drive in Geneva.

The overnight work on Randall Road will be executed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday in order to reduce daytime traffic impacts and to better serve the motoring public. The project is anticipated to be completed in one week, weather permitting.

Motorists should pay extra attention to directions given by flaggers and watch for construction equipment, as temporary lane closures and trucks entering and leaving live traffic lanes will occur during the work.  

The urethane pavement marking program is part of Kane County’s comprehensive road maintenance program to maintain the visibility of the road markings throughout the county, in an effort to help drivers navigate county roadways safely and efficiently.
