The City's contractor, Geneva Construction, will be working on eight road resurfacing and drainage projects as part of the Geneva 2024 street program. Work began in mid-August and is expected to be completed in November, weather permitting. A map and project locations can be found online.
Oct. 17 Update
Resurfacing and concrete work have been finished on Geneva Drive (from Kirk Road to East Side Drive) and Westfield Course. East Side Drive resurfacing (from State to Division streets) is nearly complete with only the section south of Dodson Street where an edge grind and patch need to be completed.
Pavement marking is scheduled to begin Friday, Oct. 18 for East Side Drive, Geneva Drive and Westfield Course. Other general street program pavement marking work concluded Oct. 16 with the bulk of the work in the Fisher Farms neighborhood.
The underground drainage improvements and asphalt patching at Scott Boulevard, Maple Court and West Street have been finished.
Landscape restoration still needs to occur on the west side of East Side Drive and in the area of Scott Boulevard, West Street and Maple Court.
Miscellaneous concrete work has largely concluded, and asphalt patching is occurring Oct. 17 on driveways and roads impacted by the sidewalk and curb replacement. There are a few outstanding repairs remaining.
All road construction is weather permitting and subject to change.
