A City contractor began a roadway patch Nov. 15 in the middle westbound lane of State Street (Route 38) in downtown Geneva.

The work required reducing westbound traffic to one lane starting at River Lane with traffic being merged to the outside lane. The City anticipates reopening the traffic lane early the week of Nov. 18.

All eastbound lanes on State Street remain open.
