The City of Geneva flag has been lowered to half-staff at City Hall in memory of former Mayor Tom Coughlin.
Mr. Coughlin served as mayor from 1997-2001 and was an alderman on the City Council during two separate occasions.
The family has chose to hold a private ceremony to celebrate Mr. Coughlin's life.
The City expresses its condolences to the Coughlin family for their loss.
