[ARCHIVED] ComEd Tree Trimming Program Resumes In Geneva This Winter

Starting in January, Commonwealth Edison will begin trimming trees in various sections of Geneva.

While the City operates its own electric utility, there are ComEd power lines that run through Geneva, including to our substations. ComEd has provided the City with maps where they will be trimming trees within the community. Those maps can be found on our website at the link below.

Residents will likely notice crews trimming trees that are near ComEd's distribution lines and transmission circuits within Geneva. The work is expected to be completed within the next three months.

For more information, visit ComEd's website or call them at 800-334-7661 and ask to speak with a vegetation management representative.
