Light snow is expected to continue into the evening, but hopefully the worst is behind us. At 4:10 p.m., Public Works reported Geneva has received about 2 inches of snow.

Plow operators are working on residential streets and going back to clean up snow routes (main arterial roads) as necessary. The small plow team will be starting to clear cul-de-sacs starting at 5 p.m.

There is a second band of snow on the radar, but hopefully it will stay south of Interstate 88.
