As part of Kane County's green initiatives, the County announced a Judicial Center solar project proposed for the northeast corner of Peck and Bricher roads.

The County's Energy and Environmental Committee will be conducting a solar project town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3 at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva. The public is invited to the meeting, which will be held in the Kane County Board Room in Building A and be streamed online on the County's website.

The Town Hall meeting will include a presentation about the proposed solar project. The program will include a panel of speakers and project partners, as well as an explanation of the project and images of the project site. There also will be time for questions and public comments.
