As part of Kane County's green initiatives, the County announced a Judicial Center solar project proposed for the northeast corner of Peck and Bricher roads.
The County's Energy and Environmental Committee will be conducting a solar project town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3 at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva. The public is invited to the meeting, which will be held in the Kane County Board Room in Building A and be streamed online on the County's website.
The Town Hall meeting will include a presentation about the proposed solar project. The program will include a panel of speakers and project partners, as well as an explanation of the project and images of the project site. There also will be time for questions and public comments. People would like to make public comment should fill out a request to speak form online. Select the Energy and Environmental Committee's Aug. 3 meeting from the dropdown list.
