What do giant stained glass murals, sprawling black and white landscapes, and intricate wire jewelry have in common? They are just a small sampling of what to expect at the 2022 Geneva Arts Fair, which will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 23-24.
“Last year the Geneva Arts Fair returned after a brief hiatus. We are thrilled that many of these artists and more are back for the Geneva Arts Fair 20th year. The work of fine artists from all over the country will be on display from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday,” said Laura Rush, Geneva Chamber of Commerce Communications Manager.
Designed as an interactive gallery, this year’s juried show will provide visitors with the opportunity to peruse multiple mediums and talk directly with the artists about their stunning displays. As they stroll down Third Street in Geneva, guests can enjoy art "en plein aire,” without the unforgiving chill of a museum and best of all, for free.
Kids can use their originality and imagination on Saturday and Sunday with projects designed for them from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the corner of Franklin and Third streets.
Geneva merchants and restaurants will be open all weekend to complement the experience.
The 20th annual Geneva Arts Fair is a must for anyone looking to expand their “stay-cation” possibilities, and enrich their summer. To view artists attending, a gallery of their work and a block map, please visit the Geneva Chamber of Commerce's website.
