[ARCHIVED] ICEC Invites Public To River Boat Cruise With Geneva's French Delegation

City News

The City's International Cultural Exchange Committee is inviting the public to join Geneva's French delegation visitors on a Fox River boat cruise Sunday, Oct. 2.

Geneva has developed a cultural partnership with Croissy-sur-Seine, located on the banks of the Seine outside of Paris. The City will be hosting visitors from France this fall.

The river cruise on the St. Charles Belle Paddlewheeler is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Oct. 2. Participants are asked to meet at noon at Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Ave., St. Charles, prior to the 45-minute voyage. Tickets are $12 per person and can be purchased in advance from the St. Charles Park District's Paddlewheel Riverboats website.

With concern for the health and safety for our international guests, the committee is encouraging participants to be current with COVID-19 vaccine guidance as recommended by the Center for Disease Control.

For more information, contact International Cultural Exchange Committee member Angela Chalberg Pool via email.
