The City is working with Geneva Construction on 14 road resurfacing and drainage projects included in the 2022 street improvement program, which started in late July and is expected to be completed in October.
As a reminder, the construction timeline outlined for all streets is weather permitting. Here is the Sept. 23 update:
Alley South of Geneva Drive
Restoration of grass and other hard surfaces will start Monday, Sept. 26.
Alley South of Britta Lane
Pavement replacement was completed on Sept. 21. Restoration of the grass and hard surfaces will start Sept. 26.
Garbage/Parking Reminders
All residents will be able to park in their garage starting Tuesday, Sept. 27. Residents living on the south side of Britta Lane and the north side of Manchester Course can put their garbage in the alley for the next scheduled pickup on Thursday, Sept. 29.
Viking Drive & Kaneville Road
A paving repair will be completed Saturday, Sept. 24 at the south bus entrance on Viking Drive. A section of the curb at 2525 Kaneville Road needs to be removed and replaced.
Pavement marking on both streets will begin in the first week of October.
Pioneer Court
Pavement replacement is complete, and driveways will be restored in about a week. One square of sidewalk still needs to be removed and replaced.
Redwing Drive & Heather Road
Curb and sidewalk replacement was completed Sept. 23.
