Grant Avenue from State (Route 38) to Peyton streets will be closed to through traffic for two days starting Monday, Oct. 17 for a water service replacement project.

The Geneva Public Works Department will begin preparing the work site for construction Oct. 17 before the old water service is removed and replaced Tuesday, Oct. 18. The roadway is expected to be reopened after the prep work Oct. 17 and closed again the following day as work resumes.

Motorists can use Logan Avenue or Charles Street as alternate routes. For more information, call the Public Works Department Water Division at 630-232-1551.
