The City of Geneva continues to garner both regional and national distinctions for being a top community to live.
Geneva is ranked as one of the 15 most charming cities in the state by Trips to Discover, an online travel magazine. The publication highlighted a number of Geneva's great attributes including a vibrant downtown, numerous festivals, family-friendly activities, and the Fabyan Forest Preserve being situated along the Fox River.
Geneva "is a lovely place to visit for small-town charm. It is filled with Victorian architecture, parks and a history museum. There are lots of local shops and restaurants in Geneva, as well as public art on display and the Fox River for scenic views," the magazine stated.
In January, Geneva and St. Charles were named as part of the 15 most beautiful towns in America by World Atlas, which is a large publishing resource in geography that also covers sociology, demography, environment, economics, and travel. World Atlas highlighted the area is "rich in boutique shops, vintage hotels, identity-driven restaurants and cafes, dog-friendly parks and riverside walking paths." The Tri-Cities also offers a "soothing setting" along the Fox River and "exudes plenty of small-town goodness," according to the article.
Thank you to all the residents, businesses and community stakeholders that make Geneva a great place to live and visit.
