A new downtown Geneva restaurant requiring a water connection will require construction crews to cut into Third Street Thursday and Friday, March 23-24, south of the Campbell street intersection.
Mandrake is planning to move into the former Chianti's Ristorante building, 201 S. Third St, later this spring or summer. The restaurant's water connection will require closing the sidewalk and some on-street parking on the block. Traffic will remain open in both directions for the majority of the project but will be shifted over to accommodate the construction. There may be times when only one lane is open on Third Street. but flaggers will be present to direct motorists through the work zone.
Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling down South Third Street. The schedule is subject to change due to the weather.
