Stevens Street is scheduled to be shut down again during the day Thursday, May 18 for concrete repairs. After concrete work, metal plates will be placed on the roadway while the new surface sets for several days.
The final phase of construction will be asphalt repairs, which should not require closing Stevens Street but rather intermittent lane shifts to accommodate the project.
