Kane County Pavement Marking Program Includes Two Geneva Highways

KDOT Road Construction

The Kane County Division of Transportation announced it will begin its annual urethane pavement marking program the week of Sept. 5, weather permitting.

Six highways are included in the project, including two in Geneva:

  • Fabyan Parkway from Kingsland Drive to Randall Road; and
  • Randall Road from Keslinger Road to Route 38.

Temporary daily lane closures will be required from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Overnight work may occur in some areas from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. in order to lessen the impact on traffic. The work is anticipated to be completed by the end of September, weather permitting.

Questions can be directed to Vince Rizza, Kane County's construction project manager, by calling 630-762-2744 or sending him an email. Visit Kane County's Traffic Advisories webpage for maps and more information.
