The annual Kane County pavement marking program, which will include several stretches of highways running through Geneva, will begin the week of Aug. 4, weather permitting.
The work will include installing painted pavement markings on about 236 miles of County highways, including the following Geneva roadways:
- Keslinger Road
- Peck Road
- Kaneville Road west of Peck Road
- Fabyan Parkway west of Randall Road
Temporary daily lane closures will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Lane closures will start on the north end of Kane County and progress south. Temporary flagger control at intersections will be used when necessary.
Work is expected to be finished by late September.
