The City’s Natural Resources Committee will spotlight sandhill cranes during its next lecture series presentation at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Geneva Public Library, 227 S. Seventh St.
The Kane County Forest Preserve will share information on these popular winged visitors, who are well-known for their distinctive calls and can be frequently seen during the spring and fall migration seasons. The presentation also features a brief introduction to the Kane County Champion Tree program.
