Pace Bus will be holding a public hearing Wednesday, July 15 in Aurora to discuss a proposed restructuring of bus service in the Fox Valley area.

Impacted routes include: 521 East Circulator, 524 West Aurora Circulator, 528 Aurora Transportation Center – Rush Copley Medical, 529 Randall Road – 5th Street, 532 Illinois Avenue, 533 Molitor, and 802 Aurora – Geneva.

The proposed restructuring includes extending service to new destinations, increasing the frequency of service and expanding service hours to operate later in the evening. Three new routes and two new Call-n-Rides are also being proposed.

Existing routes 521, 528, 529 and 532 would be replaced by other service and existing Routes 524, 533 and 802 would be modified.

The public hearing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. July 15 at Aurora City Hall, Council Chambers (Second Floor), 44 E. Downer Place, Aurora.
