Geneva City Hall and all other offices with the exception of the Police and Fire departments will be closed Tuesday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday.

Normal business hours will resume Wednesday, July 5.

Here is the upcoming garbage collection schedule for the weeks of:

  • June 26 - Thursday-Friday, June 29 and 30
  • July 3 - Friday-Saturday, July 7 and 8 (pushed back one day later than normal)
  • July 10 - Thursday-Friday, July 13 and 14

Starting Saturday, July 1, the price of newly purchased garbage stickers will cost $3.40. People who have purchased stickers at the previous rate of $3.25 can use their remaining supply without having to pay the difference through June 30, 2018. Prices for the three available refuse carts also will increase about a dollar per month, according to the City's contract with Advanced Disposal.
