The City flag outside Geneva City Hall has been lowered to half-staff in memory of former Geneva Police Chief Glenn McConnaughay and community contributor Sally Ruark.
Mr. McConnaughay, 96, was served in World War II in the Army Air Core as a military police officer during the Pacific Theater. He began his career in law enforcement in 1949 and was Geneva's Police Chief for 12 years.
Mrs. Ruark, 85, was a stalwart friend of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. As an artist, she created sculpture, paintings, drawings, installations and the City logo for Geneva.
