6. What is the sales tax rate on general merchandise sales in Geneva?

Effective July 1, 2018 the sales tax rate for sales of general merchandise in Geneva is 8%. This rate is a combined rate which includes state and local sales taxes as collected by the Illinois Department of Revenue.
