The City is offering tours of the Geneva Police Station as part of its public education process for the upcoming public safety referendum.
Residents can register to take a tour on weekdays, Wednesday evenings or select Saturdays during the winter.
Police Chief Eric Passarelli will serve as tour guide along with the help of other Police staff members. Participants will meet in the lobby of the Police Station, 20 Police Plaza, to begin the 60-minute tour.
Please note, taking photos or video on the tour will be prohibited given the sensitive nature of police work.
If you need to modify or cancel a previously scheduled tour, please call the Geneva Police Department at 630-232-4736. Special requests may be accommodated on an as-needed basis by calling the Police Department.
The City encourages the public to come see the Police Station for themselves in person at one of the many tours offered this winter.
However, for those who cannot attend, the City has provided an 11-minute virtual tour to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the Geneva Police Station from the comfort of your couch.
Police Chief Passarelli and other police officers share their experiences and challenges about working in the building.
