The Electric Division employees are responsible for the design and maintenance of the electric utility system within the City limits of Geneva. This includes the City's electrical substations, distribution system and fiber optic communications network. We take pride in providing quality, reliable and affordable electric service to our 10,200 residential, commercial and industrial customers.
The Electric Division also is responsible for the City's street lights.
Staff is on call 24/7 to guarantee that our customers receive the best possible service. However, if you experience a service disruption after-hours, please contact the Geneva Police Department non-emergency phone number at 630-232-4736. The front desk will then dispatch the appropriate Public Works personnel.
