Citizens At Risk Program

The Citizens at Risk (CAR) Program is intended to aid at-risk residents and their families and is designed to allow residents who may be at a greater risk of becoming confused, lost, disoriented, or missing to be registered with the Geneva Police Department prior to an emergency situation.

This voluntary, proactive, assistance program helps police reunite at-risk residents with their families and provide necessary medical assistance. Those registering will provide contact information to the police that may be shared with other first responders or the general public in the event of an emergency.

At-risk residents may have difficulty communicating due to a medical condition, so the ability of responders to have important information on file will be extremely beneficial. There is no fee for registering. To register yourself or a loved one, complete the CAR registration form and return it to the Police Department. Once the form has been filed, a representative will contact you to complete the registration process.
