Welcome to the 501 Lark St. Daycare Facility project page, where you will find information related to this project. The petitioner is requesting consideration of multiple applications relating to the construction of a daycare facility at 501 Lark St., including:

  • Variations from Sections 11-6F-4(B) (B4 Business District) and Section 11-8A-3(B) (Special Setback Requirements) to reduce the north street yard building setback to 9.8 feet and the parking setback to 25.3 feet;
  • Variation to Section 11-11A-6 (Parking Spaces and Design Requirements) to reduce the required number of parking spaces from 50 to 45;
  • Special Use for a daycare facility.

Status

The Planning & Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Dec. 11 and unanimously recommended the City Council approve the requests.

The City Council approved the proposal during its Jan. 20 meeting.
